Assistant Management Accountant

An excellent newly created opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join a growing, fast-moving Leeds-based organisation in a newly created role. This business has experienced significant growth over the past five years, continuing to expand and evolve offering genuine scope for progression and development.

The Role:

Reporting into the Management Accountant you will play a key role in supporting the month-end process, while progressively taking ownership of management accounting responsibilities as the role evolves.

Key responsibilities include:

Assisting with the monthly management accounts production for 2 key divisions Accruals & prepayments Journal entries Variance analysis for 75 cost centres Commentary for the monthly P&L Board Pack Full responsibility for the end to end P&L production for one division About You CIMA OR ACCA Part Qualified Previous experience of assisting with the management accounting process Strong Microsoft Excel Skills Self-starter who can manage their own workload Excellent problem-solving skills, you can add value to the process Excellent communicator
