Senior Accountant

Fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join a modern and growing firm of accountants based in Horsforth, Leeds.

This firm offers a wide range of services from tax, bookkeeping, management accounts and accounts preparation. This firm works with some specialist clients, giving you the opportunity to focus your skills and support clients throughout their growth. There are progression opportunities on offer at this firm if you are keen to progress to a manager role. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for:
Preparation and review of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies. Finalising Corporate Tax and Personal Tax returns. Transferring clients on to Xero Supporting a trainee accountant, helping them to progress and grow. Liaising with clients when necessary and forming long-term relationships. To qualify for this Senior Accountant position, ideally you will meet the following:
Will be ACA or ACCA qualified or nearing completion. Will have a minimum of 3 years’ Practice experience in an accountancy firm, having worked as a Senior Accountant. Feel comfortable and confident contacting clients and building relationships and supporting junior members of the team. What’s on offer?
