Summary

We are an independent accounting firm in Horsforth, Leeds. The role will encompass on‑the‑job training and college day release and is suited for a candidate with a high level of numeracy and time management skills. Candidates should hold a relevant degree and/or AAT qualification with a sound understanding of practical accounting.

Salary

£23,000 per year (salary dependent upon experience and qualifications, ranging between £19,000 & £25,000 per annum).

Hours

Monday to Friday 9:00 am – 5:30 pm with college day release, 38 hours a week.

Start Date

Saturday, 1 August 2026.

What You'll Do at Work

• Preparation of self-assessment tax returns
• Preparation of annual and corporation accounts
• Preparation of VAT returns
• Handle HMRC queries and correspondence
• General admin tasks as and when required
• Management of client financial records and bookkeeping
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients via phone and email
• Commit to personal professional development and share knowledge with peers

What You'll Learn

Course contents include:

Training Schedule

Training towards full membership of the ACCA via Level 7 apprenticeship route.

• Degree in Finance or Business (grade 2:1).
