TC Group is the fastest‑growing top 25 accountancy firm in the UK, offering bespoke support to ambitious business owners. The Trainee Accountant role will be based in our Leeds office and will involve working as part of either the accounts or audit team.

Salary – competitive market rate plus study support package.
Hours – 36 hours per week:
Monday to Thursday 9:00 am – 5:15 pm (1 hr unpaid lunch) and Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (1 hr unpaid lunch).

20 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays) plus a birthday day off. Leave increases by one day each year of service, up to a maximum of 5 days.

This apprenticeship scheme will prepare you for an internationally recognised qualification (AAT Level 3 & 4). Upon achieving AAT, you can progress towards an ICAEW ACA Chartered Accountant qualification. You will support the management team, complete accounting qualifications, and learn financial accounts preparation, data interpretation and tax legislation. Teamwork, client service and a willingness to learn are essential.

• Strong GCSE results in Maths and English (grade 4 or above)
• A‑levels (C and above) or equivalent
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Self‑motivated and driven
• Highly personable with excellent communication skills
• Organised, efficient, with strong initiative
• Access to a car and current UK driving licence (or working towards one)
• Current right to work in the UK
