1st Shift – 4:00 AM – 2:30 PM

Overview
Hubbell is seeking a candidate to enter its Patternmaker Apprenticeship Program. This three-year program is designed to teach the fundamental skills required to design and build foundry and casting tooling. Apprentices will gain hands-on experience through in-house training, mentorship with experienced pattern makers, and coursework that may include online and community college instruction.

Job Responsibilities

• Participate in a three-year apprenticeship program designed to develop pattern making skills

• Learn the fundamentals of designing and building foundry and casting tooling

• Gain hands-on experience within the green sand-casting operation through job shadowing

• Train alongside journeyman pattern makers by assisting and learning from experienced professionals

• Assist with programming, setup, and operation of CNC machining equipment

• Participate in training related to 3D scanning and 3D printing technologies

• Complete required in-house, online, and offsite training components

Job Requirements

• High School Diploma and a minimum 80% score on the company skills assessment test OR

• Machine Tool Technology Certificate or currently enrolled in a related program OR

• Proven and demonstrated strong background in manual or CNC machining
