ABOUT

The Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum (BVMM) is seeking passionate and driven STEM undergraduate or graduate students to join our team and help inspire the next generation of innovators through our Design Camp and Scouting America programs this summer!

BVMM summer programs offer students the chance to dive into the world of motor sport science, technology, engineering, and design. Through engaging activities, interactive tours, and collaborative problem solving, students will explore real-world STEM concepts, from automotive engineering, design, and aerodynamics to the cutting-edge advancements shaping the future of motorsports. Our experiences are designed to encourage critical thinking, collaboration, and innovation, all while taking place in the home of the world's largest motorcycle collection.

As a BVMM Turn 9 (T9) intern, you will gain valuable leadership experience, work closely with experts in the field, and build meaningful connections with students, museum staff, and motor sport professionals. Interns will play a key role in facilitating and delivering dynamic, hands-on educational experiences for 5th-9th grade students and will also have the chance to help develop new learning opportunities to expand the program.

This opportunity will allow interns to enhance skills in STEM communication, education, and public engagement - all while fostering a deeper understanding of STEM careers in motorsports.

Ideal candidates are enthusiastic about STEM education, excited to engage with students, and eager to explore the intersection of science, technology, engineering, and motorsports. Join us in driving innovation and inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders!
