The CDL Driver is responsible for the safe transportation of materials and equipment between diverse customer bases utilizing multiple styles of delivery trucks.

Job Responsibilities
  • Load, unload, prepare, and operate delivery vehicles.
  • Perform load inspections prior to and throughout deliveries.
  • Perform vehicle safety checks, document maintenance issues with supervisor and head mechanic.
  • Verify deliveries for accuracy and assist in loading and unloading cargo at client sites as needed.
  • Communicate arrival time or delays between client site(s) to delivery contact and supervisor.
  • Receive and coordinate excess project material or equipment returns to Warehouse and Tool Crib.
  • Assist in receiving, unpacking, inspecting and counting materials and equipment.
  • Maintain company owned material and equipment in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Coordinate tool and material deliveries to job sites in a timely manner.
  • Perform additional duties and deliveries as directed by management.
  • Perform minor maintenance on all types of equipment and trucks.
  • Operate all types of construction equipment to support efficient loading and unloading of materials on job sites in all-weather conditions.
Qualifications / Requirements
  • Must have a driver’s license, CDL A or B is a plus.
  • 1-3 years of previous experience as Commercial Driver.
  • Ability to work independently Sigma focus
  • Possess a high degree of initiative, creativity, communication skills and self-supervision.
  • Strict adherence to all safety rules, quality, and DOT regulations; maintain necessary DOT logs.
  • Participate in site housekeeping and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of tools and equipment used in the construction industry a plus.
  • Ability to lift and move 50 pounds.
  • Rigging experience is a plus.
