Job Title: Production Operative
Location: Ledbury
Contract Details: Temporary To Permanent
Salary: 12.50 per hour (weekly pay) this will increase in April 2026
Hours:
39 hours per week
8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday (30 min unpaid break)
8am to 1pm Friday (no break)

Responsibilities: As a Production Operative, you will:
Assist in assembling company products
Support the repair and refurbishment of products
Collaborate with Quality and Operations teams to ensure product excellence
Engage in engineering change processes to enhance existing products
Complete builds in alignment with sales and service orders
Aid in the smooth operation of the Service Warehouse
Assist with picking and packing spare parts for customers and field engineers
Maintain a clean and organised Service Warehouse
Participate in stock taking and stock control
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Experience in Warehouse Manufacturing is preferred
Familiarity with hand tools and assembly equipment
Strong attention to detail and eagerness to learn
Good problem-solving skills and ability to work well within a team
Basic understanding of engineering drawings
Effective communication skills in English
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):
Previous experience in a production or assembly role
Knowledge of quality assurance processes
Familiarity with medical device manufacturing standards
