Hardware Debug Technician - Server & Data Center Electronics
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and debug complex server hardware at the board and component level using advanced tools and techniques.
Step into a role where your technical expertise directly impacts the reliability of enterprise server and data center hardware. You’ll perform component-level troubleshooting, precision BGA rework, and root cause analysis on multilayer PCBAs including CPU, GPU, memory, and power subsystems. This position offers hands‑on work with high‑value electronics, advanced diagnostic tools, and high‑speed digital systems, while allowing you to influence troubleshooting processes and mentor junior technicians.
WhatYou’ll Be Doing
- Perform board‑level debug and repair on complex server electronics
- Diagnose failures across CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, memory, and power systems
- Analyze BIOS logs, POST codes, test scripts, and schematics to isolate root causes
- Execute precision BGA rework with X‑ray verification and controlled thermal profiles
- Maintain debug guides, troubleshooting procedures, and documentation
- Collaborate with engineering to refine diagnostic methodologies and support continuous improvement
- 2+ years troubleshooting complex electronics (servers, storage, networking)
- Strong skills reading schematics and PCB layout files
- Experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and high‑value electronic components
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and document findings clearly
- Preferred: server power architecture, DDR memory, PCIe/high‑speed interconnects
- Competitive pay: $25-$28 depending on experience
- Full‑time, Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM)
