Senior Accountant

We're seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team during an exciting growth phase. This role will oversee and assist with critical accounting functions including month-end close, AP, AR, and some job costing. You'll work directly with our CFO and be integral to building scalable accounting systems that support our continued growth.

• Manage full-cycle accounting including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial statements and reports
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable oversight and processing
• Process and track change orders, subcontractor agreements, and vendor contracts
• Document procedures and create training materials for accounting team
• Maintain accurate customer, vendor, subcontractor, and hauler records
• Assist with costing but maintaining cost codes and ensuring bills and labor are recorded correctly
• Monitor receivables and assist with lien documentation when required
• Maintain customer and vendor relationships
• Provide feedback on current processes and help develop more streamlined and efficient processes where needed
• Maintain and file customer and vendor credit applications
• Verify project insurance compliance
• Collect data and collaborate with the accounting team to streamline reporting
• Assist with WIP reporting and percentage of completion
• Assist with other accounting functions as needed

• 3-5+ years of accounting experience required
• Construction or project-based industry experience strongly preferred
• Experience with job costing systems essential
• Strong understanding of GAAP
• Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
• Experience with ERP Systems
• Intercompany accounting experience preferred
