Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Call required, including weekend shifts on a rotating basis.

Job Description
The Echo Tech will be responsible for performing a variety of echocardiogram procedures, including adult and pediatric studies. This role involves utilizing advanced echo cardiographic techniques and equipment, ensuring quality imaging, and maintaining patient safety protocols.
Responsibilities

• Conduct standard and advanced echocardiograms, including 2-D Echo, M-Mode, Color Doppler, and Transesophageal Echocardiograms (TEE)

• Perform bubble studies and pharmacologic stress echoes

• Administer imaging with contrast agents when necessary

• Calculate diastology metrics, LV strain, and other echo cardiographic measurements

• Maintain equipment, follow isolation precautions, and ensure a tobacco and fragrance-free environment
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in echocardiography

• Current certifications: RDCS or RCS, BLS preferred

• Experience with Epic and Intellispace echo processing platform

• Familiarity with Philips CVx machines
