Job DescriptionSummary: Assembles machines, equipment, and their subassemblies according to blueprints and specifications.
Essential Duties:
- Travel for installation and service both domestically and internationally.
- Support local customers with maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Plan assembly procedures based on blueprints and schematics.
- Assemble equipment using bolts, welds, or other fastening methods.
- Install moving parts and test for proper operation.
- Bend and install hydraulic piping.
- Align and assemble gear systems using measurement tools.
- Perform welding and fabrication tasks.
- Test and assist in testing completed products.
Supervisory Responsibilities: May occasionally supervise Assembly Tech I or II to complete tasks.
QualificationsEducation/
Experience:
Trade school certificate or 2-4 years related experience or equivalent.
Certificates &
Skills:
Ability to travel, excellent communication skills, ability to work well with others.
Language
Skills:
Ability to read, interpret, and communicate technical documents and instructions.
Mathematical
Skills:
Proficiency in algebra, trigonometry, and engineering principles.
Physical Demands: Frequent standing, walking, manual handling, and working at heights with safety precautions.
Work Environment: Exposure to mechanical parts, chemicals, noise, and varying weather conditions, with safety measures in place.
