Key Responsibilities
  • Implement and execute patient treatment plans under supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
  • Communicate with patients, families, referring physicians, and team members
  • Provide timely written documentation per facility and department requirements
  • Develop and enhance clinical and professional skills through knowledge and professional associations
  • Maintain documentation required by insurance providers to meet licensing, certification, reimbursement requirements
  • Support department operations and development
  • Report any changes in patient status or needs to supervising therapist promptly
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an approved Physical Therapist Assistant curriculum
  • Licensed PTA in Oregon
  • In good standing with all regulatory agencies and licensing boards
  • Working knowledge of Medicare and other payer sources
  • Full knowledge of resident rights
  • Professional presentation
  • Ability to multitask
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Current and active CPR/BLS certification
