Customer Service Representative

Summary

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the customer service department in a fast-paced manufacturing industry. This includes managing a team of customer service representatives, developing, and implementing customer service policies and procedures, and ensuring that customers receive the highest level of service possible.

Full-time

• Supports and drives service promise in team. Creates urgency and monitors accuracy of team’s work.
• Communicates changes and issues discussed in daily production meeting with team.
• Backlog-monitor open orders and machine hours. Review requests for move ups.
• Close out all pending items not automatically closed by order processing.
• Control green sheet process.
• Monitor customer complaints and fill out root cause analysis. Review with associates.
• Continuous systems training.
• Development plans.

• 2 years of leadership experience in a customer service setting preferred.
• Computer literacy with ERP Systems and Windows applications.
• 1+ years in a similar customer service environment.

• Strong written and oral communication.

Physical Requirements

• May require you to enter a manufacturing environment that requires proper PPE including safety shoes, safety glasses and hearing protection.
• Manufacturing environment may be loud, hot/cold depending on season.
