Travel RN - Labor & Delivery

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position in a high-volume Birthing Pavilion, requiring a NH or compact RN license and recent L&D experience.

Job Details

• Work in a Birthing Pavilion with 21 L&D rooms, a 2-bed triage room, and 2 operating rooms,

• High-volume unit performing approximately 1,300 deliveries per year,

• Nurse-to-patient ratios follow AWHONN staffing guidelines: 1:1 for active labor/Pitocin/intermittent monitoring, 1:2 for cervical ripening with Pitocin, 1:2 for high-risk medications (Magnesium Sulfate and Insulin drips), and 1:3 for Antepartum and Postpartum couplets,

• Night shift, 36 hours per week,

Job Requirements

• Active NH or compact RN license required,

• Current BLS certification required,

• Must have recent L&D experience at a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 facility within the last 2 years,

• 2 professional references from managers required for consideration,
