Job Details:

• Work day/night rotation with variable start times: 0700, 0800, 0900, 1000, 1100, and 1900

• Care for patients recovering from various surgical procedures including vascular, general, thoracic, gynecology, neurosurgery, orthopedic, kidney transplants, and whipple procedures

• Manage high acuity, high volume PACU environment with controlled chaos in evenings

• Handle PACU overnight boarders including ICU craniotomies, step down, or med surg patients

• Must be familiar with ventricular drains (no ICP monitoring in PACU as patients go directly to ICU)

• Experience required with arterial lines, central lines, vasoactive and sedative drips, chest tubes, and tracheostomies

• Preferred previous ICU and/or high acuity PACU experience required

• Manage patients post-surgery including carotid procedures, AAA repairs, esophagectomies, craniotomies for tumors, neurostimulators, and radical neck surgeries with trachs

Adex Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
