Overview

The ability to create an individualized plan of care, adjust it based on the patient's response to treatment, and evaluate the overall effectiveness of the plan is essential.

Coordination and supervision of patient care should be carried out as needed. Demonstrating strong organizational and prioritization skills is vital for job functions.

Utilizing assessment data to pinpoint patient care needs is crucial, including aspects such as patient education and discharge planning.

It's important to recognize and report any abnormal assessment findings, integrating this information into the care plan and adjusting expected outcomes accordingly.

All patient care activities, including wound assessments, educational interactions, progress towards goals, medication administration, nursing flow sheets, and all assessment forms, must be documented accurately and legibly. Tasks should be delegated to healthcare team members appropriately.

• Minimum of 3 years of current Med-Surg experience
• Previous travel experience is required (at least 6 months)
• Telemetry/Progressive Care experience is highly preferred
• EPIC EMR experience is mandatory
• Travelers must have access to their own vehicle for this position
• Permanent address must be included in the profile

• ACLS (AHA)
• BLS (AHA)

• Compact licenses allowed

• An active NH or Compact License is required at the time of submission; the facility will not hold the RN license.
