Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification, OB credential, and recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience.
Responsibilities- General ultrasound role in a trauma setting with pediatric and advanced abdominal imaging
- Performs 3D and 4D imaging, high-risk gynecological and obstetrical exams, infertility, and complex ultrasound-guided biopsies
- Day shifts with various shift lengths, typically 4 days per week
- Duties include performing 3D and 4D imaging, advanced abdominal and OB ultrasound, infertility studies, and guided biopsies
- Experience with ultrasound reporting systems is expected
- First-time travelers will be considered with all credentials and experience verified
- Proper documentation and certification must be maintained throughout assignment
- Minimum of 1.5 years of experience in general and specialty ultrasound exams
- Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required
- ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) certification required with OB credential
- NH Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy Licensure required; license must remain active for duration of assignment
- BLS certification required
- Competency in ultrasound reporting systems
- Pediatric experience preferred
- Experience in high-risk OB, advanced abdominal imaging, infertility, and guided biopsies preferred
- License required if applicable
- 75-mile radius rule applies; no local candidates allowed
