Electrophysiology Advanced Practice Provider (FT) Lebanon
The Heart and Vascular Center at Dartmouth-Hitchcock is seeking a motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APRN or PA), with a strong interest and background in Cardiology to join our Cardiac Electrophysiology (EP) Program. The candidate will join a diverse team comprised of 6 EP physicians, 6 Advanced Practice Providers, cardiac device nurses, and technicians. The candidate will participate in the education of general Cardiology and EP Fellows, and provide inpatient and ambulatory clinical consultation and follow-up to coordinate high-quality care for cardiac patients and their families as part of a multidisciplinary team and with the support of a staff electrophysiologist.
The role involves collaboration with all treatment team members in the management of cardiac patients and encompasses responsibilities including assessment, diagnosis, and management of complex rhythm conditions (pre- and post-ablation atrial fibrillation, supra ventricular tachycardia, ventricular tachycardia) and management of patients with implanted cardiac devices such as pacemakers and implantable defibrillators. Substantial onboarding and training will be provided. The selected individual will advocate for patients to ensure that needs of patients and families are met and fragmentation of care is prevented.
In addition to clinical responsibilities, the scope of practice includes teaching and participation in quality improvement activities. As the home to the Dartmouth Institute and Geisel School of Medicine, there are opportunities for academic appointment and advancement for motivated providers.
This position primarily hosts hours between 7a-5:30p, four days a week with 1:9 rotating weekend and holiday coverage.

Responsibilities Qualifications- National Certification from an approved certifying body
