Job Description: We are currently seeking highly skilled and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurses for a 13-week contract in Lebanon, NH. The Emergency Department is committed to providing fast, accessible, professional, and compassionate care to the residents of the Upper Valley. The Emergency Room RN will be responsible for providing direct nursing care to patients with acute/primary care and emergent medical needs, utilizing the nursing process assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs.

The goal is to have all patients seen within 30 minutes of triage.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Emergency Room with acute/primary care and emergent medical needs
• Utilize the nursing process assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care needs
• Recognize and establish priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Set objectives and goals for work assignments and patient care delivery
• Maintain competency in using medical equipment
• Comply with hospital, nursing department, and unit policies and procedures
• Patient population:
  Pediatric through Geriatric
• Number of beds in unit: 6
• RN to patient ratio: 1:3
• Electronic Medical Record (EMR): EPIC
• Dress code:
  Any color scrubs
• RN to Paramedic model

Submission Requirements:

• EPIC EMR experience - required
• 2+ years of ED experience - Required
• Recent travel experience (at least 6 months) - Required
• TNCC - Highly Preferred

Certifications:

• ACLS
• BLS
• PALS

State Licenses:

• New Hampshire
