Overview
The Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking an experienced Advanced Practitioner (APRN or PA) to provide diagnostic evaluation and management of minor medical complaints for children and adults presenting to the Alice Peck Day Express Care. This role primarily supports Express Care, with potential opportunities for qualified candidates to provide patient care in regional emergency departments.
Primary responsibilities for all assigned patients include ordering diagnostic testing, performing procedures within the advanced practitioner's scope of practice, prescribing medications, and directing the administration of medications by nursing staff.

- Graduate of an accredited APRN or PA academic program
- National specialty certification as an Acute Care ANP, Acute Care PNP, or NNP; or Certification through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Eligible for RN licensure in the State of NH (APRNs only)
- Eligible for APRN or PA licensure in the State of NH
- Eligible for Federal DEA Registration
- BLS certification
- ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP as appropriate
