Overview
Dartmouth Health’s Department of Radiology is inviting a Cardiothoracic or Thoracic Radiologist to join a world‑class imaging division in the Upper Valley of New Hampshire and Vermont. The candidate will work at Dartmouth‑Hitchcock Medical Center, the system’s academic hub located next to Hanover, NH, home of Dartmouth College and the Geisel School of Medicine.
Position SummaryThe role is available at the assistant, associate, or full professor level, depending on experience. Candidates with teaching and academic interests, including those with limited prior personal academic experience, are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will deliver clinically excellent care and contribute to education and scholarly activity within the department.
Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive cardiothoracic imaging services, including chest CT, chest radiography, chest MR, cardiac MR, and coronary CTA.
- Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams, integrating care with orthopedics and other specialties.
- Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in diagnostic radiology and thoracic imaging.
- Engage in research, publications, and participation in national societies to advance clinical excellence.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Fellowship‑trained or equivalent experience in cardiothoracic imaging.
- Current medical license in both New Hampshire and Vermont.
- Ability to be appointed to assistant, associate, or full professor rank, with preference for candidates who can establish a local or national reputation for clinical excellence and teaching.
- Full‑time, 40‑hour per week, day shift.
- Annual salary range $578,000–$606,000 (full‑time equivalent) depending on experience and qualifications.
