Position
Assembler – Lowe Boats
Position OverviewAs part of the talented Lowe Boats team as an Assembler, you will assemble aluminum boats and/or sub-assemblies, partially or completely, working at a bench, in a boat, or on the shop floor.
Essential Functions- Position parts according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fasten parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners, using jigs and gluing as required.
- Remove small quantities of metal with hand files and shears to produce a close fit between parts.
- Operate drill presses, punch presses, air tools or riveting machines to assist in assembly operations.
- Install seats, bases, pedestals, consoles, cables, controls, graphics, etc.
- Follow quality systems procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

QualificationsRequired
- Self-starter, team player with good safety awareness
- Requires standing, bending and twisting for a 10-hour shift
Preferred
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Previous experience in boat assembly preferred
- May be required to work in a non-air conditioned area
- Regularly required to work at heights on platforms, lifting parts up to 50 lbs
- Exposed to noise, dust, fumes and odors daily
- PPE required: hearing protection, vision protection, safety toe shoes, safety gloves
The anticipated pay range for this position is $ per hour. The actual base pay offered will vary based on knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, and location. In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a 2% annual productivity bonus.
