Overview

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a Front of House Manager, your primary responsibility is to our customers, ensuring that every guest is taken care of like family.

To be successful, you should have excellent communication skills and a passion for customer service. You should be someone who leads by example, both in how you interact with your team as well as how to support our guests. You should have experience in full service restaurants with knowledge of all aspects of guest service including beverage knowledge, service standards and sales techniques.

You will also assist with a variety of responsibilities and duties such as recruiting and hiring restaurant staff, training, executing restaurant marketing strategies, and providing a welcoming environment for guests and staff. Below is a more exhaustive list of your expected duties.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the restaurant operations during your shifts
  • Deliver exceptional guest service through training and assisting staff to provide a welcoming environment
  • Assist in developing and executing the restaurant marketing strategy
  • Respond efficiently to customer questions and service issues
  • Develop and train hourly staff in sales techniques, product knowledge, and service standards
  • Assist management team in controlling costs
  • Create and nurture a positive working environment
  • Implement innovative strategies to improve quality and guest experience
  • Inventory and order product
Qualifications
  • Ideally, 2+ years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or fine dining service/bartending experience
  • Food, wine and beverage knowledge
  • Computer literacy including POS systems, accounting software, Excel, and Word documents
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software is helpful
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills
  • Good financial management skills
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Good time-management skills
