What You’ll Do

• Conduct routine inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods.
• Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards as well as HACCP compliance and other food safety and workplace safety initiatives.
• Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
• Identify, document, and report any deviations from quality standards and work with production teams to implement corrective actions.
• Assist with weekly pre‑operation checks üstünliking ATP verification swabbing.
• Assist with environmental sampling (water, air, product, equipment, etc).
• Implement hold procedures in response to quality deviations or food safety risks.
• STOP production if our quality standards are not met.
• Communicate findings to key personnel.selection to correct any system problems, throughput or quality issues to ensure all products produced meet established quality requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address quality issues and improve processes.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
• Participate in internal and external audits and inspections.
• Perform housekeeping throughout work area.
• Utilize Lockoutỉ Tagout when tasks require.
• Perform additional duties as needed.

What You’ll Need

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field is preferred.
• 2‑year degree in laboratory/food science, or equivalent
  
  Fc prior experience in food quality assurance. discourse
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as SOPs and QA paperwork.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards (e.g., HACCP, GMP).
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Demonstrates sound judgment in decision making.
• Demonstrate proper use of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Ability to engage and collaborate positively with all levels and departments.
• Understanding of standards and measurements.
• Math and computer skills.
• Reliable and consistent attendance.
• Lift up to 60 pounds.
• Stand for long periods of time up to 10 hours.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Abide by company GMP and PPE policies.
