Summary:

As Quality Program Lead, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and assisting in the day-to-day management of QA activities in our manufacturing plants. You will be leading a team of QA technicians within a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead the QA team across 3 shifts ensuring tasks are conducted efficiently and meet business needs.
• Develop a constructive work environment through interpersonal skills, team building, leadership, and open communication.
• Provide expertise and support to management on QA and Food Safety activities.
• Conduct internal audits to support GFSI program compliance.
• Lead HACCP, GMP, and BRC programs including updates, maintenance, and validation.
• Ensure regulatory compliance across all plants and coordinate audits.
• Complete and evaluate supplier audits, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Innovate audit practices and document new policies.
• Identify training needs and organize relevant training sessions.
• Draft and implement QA/food safety policies and SOPs.
• Perform risk assessments and root cause analyses on non-conformities.
• Ensure pest control and continuous process improvement.

Required Experience:

• Postsecondary degree in Biology, Food Science, or related field.
• At least 5 years in a QA leadership role in food manufacturing.
• Internal auditor certification.
• Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and GFSI audits.
• Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and MS Office skills.
