• Nurses provide for the daily care, health needs, safety, and comfort of residents.
• Nurses ensure that restorative nursing care measures are performed as indicated and ordered.
• Nurses maintain open communication with nursing management regarding conditions on the nursing unit and concerns related to staff, residents, and visitors.
• Nurses explain treatment goals and expectations to residents and their families to obtain feedback and cooperation.
• Nurses supervise and manage personnel on their units.
• Nurses review medication systems and clinical records to verify proper maintenance and updates of medical records.
• Nurses review daily assignments of nursing staff to ensure duties are consistent with their abilities and training.
• Nurses assist and instruct nursing staff on the unit in special treatments and nursing care.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with a valid RN or LPN license in good standing, according to State and Federal requirements.
