Overview
Summary The Inventory Supervisor’s overall responsibility is to oversee the organization, ordering and stocking of over $400,000 in parts inventory and $200,000 in monthly purchases.
Responsibilities- Ensure all policies and procedures are being followed
- Suggest modifications to policies and procedures to Branch Manager and HR
- Review previous day’s open items to include:
- Orders
- Parts sales
- Ensures support of machine shop with needed materials/assist in machining
- Issues parts credits and restocks returned materials
- Verifies mechanics work schedule to ensure parts/material availability
- Locates within inventory difficult to find parts (rebuilt units)
- Salvages reusable parts for scrap
- Supports other RTS facilities
- Weekly, reconciles invoices, miscellaneous purchase orders
- As needed, conducts cycle counts
- Two times per year, scraps AFA parts
- Attends quarterly management budget review
- Organized record keeping or some filing may be required.
- Other duties may be assigned

- High school diploma or GED; or two to five years’ experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Good written and verbal skills

- The noise level in the work environment are quite noisy due to the equipment used in plants and vehicles that are being repaired
