Job Purpose

As the EHS Specialist, you will perform activities that focus on environmental, health, and safety programs that support the company’s overall EHS vision within a warehouse and distribution setting. This role strengthens day‑to‑day safety performance by ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, reducing material‑handling and equipment‑related risks, and fostering a culture where safe behaviors are the norm. You will partner closely with warehouse leadership, forklift operators, pickers, packers, and maintenance teams to implement EHS initiatives, conduct inspections, analyze incident trends, and provide practical guidance that protects employees, safeguards inventory and equipment, and supports efficient, uninterrupted warehouse operations.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary EHS support for the Lebanon CNH campus, providing daily visibility, guidance, and mentorship to operational teams.
  • Serve as a boots‑on‑the‑ground EHS presence, actively engaging with teams on the floor, in operations, and across all work areas to identify risks, support safe behaviors, and promote a strong safety culture.
  • Build positive, trust‑based cross‑functional relationships with employees, supervisors, and leadership to influence safety improvements and drive accountability.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Maintenance, HR, Quality, and other functions to ensure EHS practices are understood, implemented, and continuously improved.
  • Conduct regular workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments, providing real-time coaching, guidance, and follow-up to support compliance and hazard prevention.
  • Support incident investigations with an emphasis on collaboration, root cause analysis, and practical corrective actions that strengthen long‑term safety performance.
  • Facilitate engaging EHS trainings and communications, adapting communication style to connect effectively with diverse teams and learning styles.
  • Maintain accurate EHS documentation, reporting, and metrics; analyze data to identify trends and recommend improvements.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (Environmental Health, Environmental Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, etc) with a minimum of 1 year of EH&S experience.
  • Associates degree or equivalent experience plus 3 or more years of EH&S experience OR
  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience plus 5 or more years of EH&S experience.
  • Must be available up to 10% travel.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate Safety Professional (ASP) or Certified Safety Professional Certification (CSP) preferred.
  • Continuous Improvement process experience, including tracking and data analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with teams remotely.
  • Strong computer skills.
Pay Transparency

The annual salary for this role is $61,125 - $84,000 plus any applicable bonus (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.).
