Accounting Specialist

Minimum Travel Between Indianapolis and Lebanon, with occasional out of state travel as needed.

The Job You Will Perform
  • Responsible for a variety of routine and some non-routine clerical/accounting functions in accordance with standard procedures in one or more of the following areas: general accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable or a related financial area.
  • Perform daily financial activities of the plant.
  • Responsible for payroll processing for hourly employees
  • Manage plant by greeting and welcoming visitors and ensuring they are directed to the correct person.
  • Answer and direct phone calls to the appropriate personnel and handle inquiries from visitors and callers
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of daily, weekly, and monthly responsibilities and reports.
  • Enters daily production hours into Payroll System, balances hours and maintains accuracy.
  • Assist in other accounting duties such as reconciling bank accounts, balancing books, and processing payments.
  • Various clerical duties.
The Qualifications, Skills And Knowledge You Will Bring
  • Two to three years accounting experience or equivalent related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Primarily Microsoft Excel)
  • Experience with SAP a plus
