THE CITY OF LEAWOOD, KANSAS is looking for a

Concession Manager

Are you ideal for working as a Concessions Manager at the Leawood Aquatic?

• Do you have a high school diploma or equivalent?
• Are you 18 years of age OR older?
• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills?
• Are you reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment?
• Are you ready to make some extra money for the summer?
• Do you have cash-handling experience?
• Do you have experience in managing employees?
• What about managing employees at a concession stand?

As the Concessions Manager, you will work:

• Approximately 30 hours per week between 11:30 am and 8 pm.
• Weekdays, nights, weekends, and one to two holidays.
• The Pool Season runs from May to September.

A few of the things you will be doing include:

• Overseeing the daily operations of the concession stand.
• Pre-season preparation of the concession stand, including ordering food, beverages, and supplies.
• Training seasonal staff on daily concession operations, including opening and closing procedures, equipment management, cash handling, and food preparation.
• Processing pool admissions, season passes, concessions sales, and end-of-day procedures.
• Maintaining inventory of all food, beverages, and supplies, placing orders as needed and updating inventory records in Rectrac.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of sinks, drinking fountains, ice machine, and all appliances within the concession stand.
