801 Chophouse Leawood is hiring for a Pastry Cook position!

This is a part-time position working in a team-oriented, high-volume, fast-paced, guest-centric environment with the highest of quality food.

Important This posting is specifically seeking to fill a need for a Sunday and Monday day/evening shifts. You must be able to work Sunday and Monday. Additional shifts may be available, depending business needs.

• Pastry production
• General knife handling
• Pastry plating
• Kitchen cleanliness/sanitation
• Organization skills

• At least 1 year experience, preferably more, in pastry production in high-end/fine dining.
• Basic knowledge of molecular gastronomy
• Cake making & decorating
• Petit fours/Mignardises
• Gluten-free
• Ice cream/sorbet
• Bread making
• Ability to effectively communicate with kitchen and front of house team in loud environment
• Sunday/Monday shifts are required - day, evening, holidays. Additional availability on other days of the week, including nights, weekends & some holidays is a plus.

• Must maintain regular, predictable and reliable attendance
• Physical ability to work on your feet, alertly, for extended periods of time
• Continuous use of hands and arms; continuous bending, reaching & twisting
• Physical ability to frequently lift 20-30 lbs, and occasionally up to 50lbs
• Physical ability to squat, kneel, and climb
