Position Overview

As a Data Architect at R Systems, you will play a key role in designing and architecting enterprise data systems, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes, while driving data strategy, governance, and security. This role will collaborate closely with business intelligence, technical teams, and stakeholders to define data models, establish standards, and ensure scalable, high-quality data solutions that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and architect data systems, including databases, data warehouses, and data lakes.
  • Define entity relationship diagrams in collaboration with the business intelligence team to align data product designs.
  • Develop a framework for how data is modeled, stored, organized, and accessed.
  • Establish a common data dictionary to maintain consistency across the organization.
  • Collaborate with key business and technology stakeholders to develop and implement data strategies which align with business processes.
  • Responsible for ensuring data security and compliance with regulations.
  • Review and analyze data infrastructure, identifying data sources and define data management policies.
  • Develop and maintain necessary APIs in support of the organization’s application and data requirements.
  • Establish a data management plan which introduces consistent and common data architecture with new and existing solutions.
  • Accountable for overall health and quality of data solutions, systems and platforms.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with business intelligence team, business stakeholders, and technical staff on-site and in virtual environments.
