Half Day Camp Counselor Aide

Are you ideal for working as a Half Day Camp Counselor Aide at Leawood?

• Are you 15 years of age OR older?
• Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills?
• Are you reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment?
• Are you ready to make some extra money for the summer?
• Do you have experience working with Children?

• Approximately 20 – 30 hours per week between 7 am and 1 pm.
• Weekdays, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• The camps will run from mid June through the end of July.
• Assist the Half Day Camp Counselor with the planning, developing, implementing, and directing camp recreational programs including arts and crafts, drama, sports and life skills, language-based activities, dance, and music.
• Assisting in the safety and appropriate supervision of campers and staff, working with children ages 5–11.
• Assisting in maintaining and updating camper records including but not limited to attendance, consent forms, and emergency forms.
• Promote a safe, structured, and positive environment by supporting appropriate camper behavior and ensuring health and safety during all activities.
