We are seeking a Manager of Transportation to join our team.
Starting Salary: $47,000 (Salary)
This role will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of all transportation services within the Cornerstones of Care Kansas Foster Care program. The position ensures safe, timely, and efficient transport of clients while maintaining compliance with organizational policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. As a member of the Transportation team, you will work with 10 other team members and report to our Director of Placement Stability.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:- Supervise, mentor, and train drivers to ensure high performance, adherence to safety protocols, and compliance with organizational policies.
- Ensure all agency vehicles are licensed, insured, properly maintained, equipped with working gas cards, and ready for deployment at any time.
- Develop, implement, and monitor transportation schedules to meet the needs of children, families, and foster care team members efficiently and safely.
- Investigate and report all transportation-related accidents or incidents, determine causes, and evaluate situations to improve safety procedures and prevent future occurrences.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2 years of experience in administrative or child welfare areas preferred.
- At least 21 years of age and pass background check, physical, and drug screening.
- A valid driver's license in the state you reside in, proof of current vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation.
