The Guidance Center (TGC) is currently seeking a Licensed Addictions Counselor
. This position is responsible for providing mandatory, outpatient individual and group substance abuse treatment to high-risk felony offenders in a community setting. Most of the services will be provided at the Leavenworth County Community Corrections facility. Hours will be 8 AM to 7 PM Monday through Thursday.

- Competitive annual salary from $69,940 to $74,940, depending upon skills and experience

RequirementsEDUCATION AND LICENSURE:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in addiction-related field, psychology, social work, human services, or other related area with 33 credit hours of specific coursework in addiction counseling.
- Licensed by the Kansas Behavioral Sciences Regulatory Board as a LAC by the first day of employment.
EXPERIENCE:
Required:
Two years experience in providing alcohol/drug assessment and treatment.
Preferred:
Certification to provide Kansas SB123 program services.
