- Assess both Inpatients and Outpatients and grow the Outpatient program
- Assess functional abilities using standardized assessments, patient interviews, and real‑world task simulations to determine patient independence and areas of need
- Develop treatment plans tailored to the patient's condition, goals, and discharge needs
- Train patients in Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, and transferring
- Recommend and train patients in adaptive equipment such as grabbers, reachers, sock aids, dressing sticks, etc.
- Suggest environmental modifications to improve safety and accessibility in home or hospital rooms
- Educate patients and families on proper caregiving and ongoing home or rehab facility care
- Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy
- Current state Occupational Therapy certification/license
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate
- National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC
- Experience in Outpatient Orthopedic Therapy
