Due to the secure nature of the programme, you must hold UK Security Clearance or be eligible to go through this clearance. This role is five days a week working in the Leatherhead Office.

• Design, build and test secure Java‑based web services that interrogate and manipulate multiple data sources, delivering correlated information to front‑end applications.
• Work within a SAFe Agile framework, contributing to iterative delivery across structured sprints, taking ownership of your work while collaborating closely with other developers, testers and stakeholders in a fast‑moving environment.
• Be encouraged to think creatively, adapt to changing requirements, and continuously improve solution quality.
• Help ensure reliable delivery across development and, where required, production support activities.

• Strong experience developing and automated testing of Java services.
• Recent hands‑on experience building RESTful APIs.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Sole UK nationality with active SC Clearance (no unrestricted travel permits).
• Willingness to work full‑time from CGI’s Leatherhead office (5 days per week).

• Front‑end development exposure (e.g. React with Jest).
• JUnit and integration testing tools such as Ready
  
  API.
• Git for source‑code management.
• REST APIs using OpenAPI and JSON.
• SQL and PL/SQL scripting against Oracle databases.
• CI/CD tooling such as Git Lab Runner or Jenkins.

• Selenium for front‑end integration testing.
• Understanding of SOAP services and Oracle SOA.
