Workshop Technician​/MOT Tester

Overview

We are looking to recruit a full-time technician and MOT tester at Volvo Cars Leatherhead. You must be qualified to NVQ level 2 or 3, and work to a high standard in order to give our customers an outstanding level of workmanship.

Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30, with 1 hour for lunch. Saturdays on a rota basis, 1 in 3.

• Servicing & repairs of all Volvo Cars.
• Work well on your own, and in a team.
• Good Communication skills.
• Be able to talk to customers to gain further knowledge on a fault or symptom.
• Accurately record faults found on a Health Check system.
• Write Jobs cards up clearly for warranty and retail purpose.
• Enhance the reputation of the Dealership at every opportunity when interacting with others.

• Experience and skills within a workshop environment.
• Calm and organised approach to problem solving, tackling stressful situations and handling a varied workload.
• Knowledge and experience of workshop operations.
• Capable of interacting with all types of people in a lucid, professional and pleasant manner.
• Embrace Volvo training and development.
