About the RoleAs our HR & Payroll Integration Support specialist, you will play a pivotal role in:
- HR & payroll integration work for a recent acquisition
- Full UK payroll accountability (global payroll provider partnership)
- Employee data alignment, testing, validation & systems migration
- Benefits administration, reconciliations, and onboarding/offboarding
- HR operations, policy guidance, recruitment support & employee queries
- Ensuring compliance with UK laws, tax rules, company policies
- Supporting continuous improvement, change communications & training
This role offers broad exposure, real responsibility, and exceptional learning across HR, Payroll, M&A, and systems transformation.
Key Responsibilities- Harmonise payroll processes, systems, data & policies
- Support HRIS (Workday), ATS, LMS, T&A, comp tools inventory and mapping
- Data cleansing, deduplication & migration testing
- Resolve data discrepancies, integration gaps & workflow blockers
- Coordinate with HR, Finance & external payroll vendors
- Support employee communications, change plans & training rollouts
- End‑to‑end payroll cycle: preparation ➝ vendor submission ➝ reconciliation
- Manage payroll deadlines, approvals & compliance checks
- Recommend process enhancements & streamline post‑acquisition flow
- Map legacy benefits to new plans, manage migrations & deductions
- Assist with leave balance migration, reconciliations, approvals
- Oversee car fleet returns, share option process & provider liaison
- Prepare eligibility files, enrollments & exception tracking
- Maintain accurate employee data in Workday
- Manage hires, transfers, promotions & exits
- Support recruitment, onboarding & compliance
- Respond to employee & manager HR queries with empathy & accuracy
- Contribute to HR process improvements, documentation & knowledge sharing
- HR‑related education;
Bachelor’s degree a plus - Strong experience in Payroll + HR generalist functions
- M&A or integration experience highly advantageous
- Knowledge of UK employment law & global HR operations
- HR systems experience (Workday preferred)
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving & stakeholder partnership skills
- Able to work confidentially, accurately, and with pace
- Experience in Pharma/Animal Health a plus
