We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Trust Accountant to join our Trust and Wealth Services department in our Leatherhead office!

The Trust Accounting team provides sophisticated trustee, trust administration and trust accounting services. We specialise in the production of accounts for Trusts and Charities as well as providing administration services to Trusts. Our clients are typically High Net Wealth (HNW) and Ultra High Net Wealth (UHNW) individuals or families, each of whom are unique and receive a precisely tailored service.

The role of Assistant Trust Accountant involves assisting with the preparation of trust accounts and tax returns for UK and non-UK trusts, estates, and high net worth individuals, as well as administering these trusts and liaising with trustees and advisors.

As an Assistant Trust Accountant, the day to day will encompass:

• Assisting in the preparation of trust accounts and trust tax returns for UK and non-UK trusts and estates
• The administration of these trusts, including liaison with trustees and other advisors
• Assisting with the preparation of accounts and tax returns for trusts, charities, estates and high net worth individuals
• Assisting in the preparation of tax pool computations for offshore trusts
• Administration of trusts, charities and estates
• Assisting in the preparation of trust and individual inheritance tax returns

• Experience with in financial services, such as fund administration/accounting/bookkeeping
• Knowledge of more technical financial instruments, such as private equity or derivatives etc
• Client service experience, especially with private clients
