We are looking for an experienced LSS Test Engineer who will be detail-oriented with a strong electrical/electronic background to work with the Life Safety and Security team. This is a great opportunity to drive an expanding team and be part of even better!

ABOUT YOU

You will have worked previously as a LSS Test Engineer, with great customer approach, with have hands on experience. This will be working as part of a strong and established team. You will be an individual who has a proactive approach to learning and continuous improvement which is essential to thrive in this role. Required

skills and experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree/HNC in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
  • Experience in testing, preferably within the life safety and security sector.
  • Familiarity with EN54 standards and regulatory requirements is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with test setup tools, instrumentation, and software for automated and manual testing.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and teamwork skills.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

The LSS Test Engineer role will be responsible for setting up, developing, and executing tests in accordance with EN54 standards to ensure product compliance and reliability

Key activities:
  • Implement test plans and procedures for life safety and security products, specifically aligned with EN54/IEC 60068 standards.
  • Utilise specialised tools and equipment to configure and execute comprehensive testing protocols.
  • Analyse test data, identify issues, and collaborate with engineering teams and customers to resolve failures and non-compliance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of test results, processes, and compliance reports in accordance to UKAS 17025.
