Contracts Manager, Regulatory Compliance Specialist

K supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, delivering challenging assignments on some of the world’s largest and most complex projects.
GeneralPre‑
Contract:
Support the client in an advisory role; manage and/or support the EPC tender process from tender release through to bid evaluation and final award recommendation; manage timelines, bid submissions, stakeholder reviews and commercial clarifications.
Post‑
Contract:
On behalf of the client, provide commercial expertise/hands‑on contract administration and oversight of the successful EPC bidder including but not limited to: the development of master documents to support processes and procedures; regulatory compliance, risk analysis, change administration, claims administration, early warnings, notices, records, correspondence and commercial close‑out.
- Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Law, Finance, Management, or Quantity Surveying along with an appropriate professional qualification (RICS, CICES, CIPS, CIOB preferred).
- Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar role.
- A sound knowledge of different contracting strategies.
- Experience managing project commercial issues in the oil and gas, petrochemical and renewable energy and energy transition contracting environments.
- Expertise in negotiating contract terms for services, construction, engineering, and equipment installation.
- Strong understanding of contracting principles, legal terms and conditions.
- Broad knowledge of construction industry and EPC contract language.
- Experience with RFP/RFQ processes for heavy industrial projects.
- Ability to formulate multiple compensation structures (cost reimbursable, lump sum, unit price).
- Skilled in work change and claims evaluation and negotiation.
- Experience in creating and/or managing tender packages including project‑specific terms and conditions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
