Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for K  who are a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

K  support the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents. Serving their customers through diverse business units, K  offer challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

General

Pre
- Contract:

Support the client in an advisory role; manage and/or support the EPC tender process from tender release through to bid evaluation and final award recommendation; manage timelines, bid submissions, stakeholder reviews and commercial clarifications.

Post

Contract:

On behalf of the client, provide commercial expertise/hands-on contract administration and oversight of the successful EPC bidder including but not limited to: the development of master documents to support process and procedures; regulatory compliance, risk analysis, change administration, claims administration, early warnings, notices, records, correspondence and commercial close out.

Qualifications
  • Degree in Science, Engineering, Business, Law, Finance, Management, or Quantity Surveying along with appropriate professional qualification (RICS, CICES, CIPS, CIOB preferred)
Experience
  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in a similar role
  • A sound knowledge of different contracting strategies
  • Experience managing project commercial issues in the oil and gas, petrochemical and renewable energy and energy transition contracting environments
  • Expertise in negotiating contract terms for services, construction, engineering, and equipment installation
  • Strong understanding of contracting principles, legal terms and conditions
  • Broad knowledge of construction industry and EPC contract language
  • Experience with RFP/RFQ processes for heavy industrial projects
  • Ability to formulate multiple compensation structures (cost reimbursable, lump sum, unit price)
  • Skilled in work change and claims evaluation and negotiation
  • Experience in creating and/or managing tender packages including project-specific terms and conditions
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
