Trainee BIM​/CAD Technician

An ambitious Trainee BIM CAD Technician is needed to join a growing company; an established organisation which specialises in the production of fully engineered and co‑ordinated building services models which satisfy the latest BIM requirements.

Must be keen to learn as this is a fantastic opportunity for a trainee CAD technician to join an established organisation as part of a growing team with a combined experience of over 60 years in building services projects.

Location: Leatherhead

Salaries: £24,400 - £27,000 (depending on experience)

Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours

Holiday: 20 days holiday increasing annually to a maximum of 25

Pension: Company contribution pension 4%

• Working under a senior co‑ordinator engineer.
• Work in 2D surface modelling.
• Preparing end sheets for installation drawings.
• Modifying schematics and electrical layout drawings.
• This role will progress to producing drawings in 3D solid modelling.

• IT literate with experience of using AutoCAD.
• A sound knowledge of engineering principals.
• An understanding of construction methods.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Able to work to deadlines.
