Part II Architectural Assistant / Architect - Private Residential

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

We are working with a well-established, design-led architectural practice specialising in bespoke private residential projects across Surrey and the surrounding areas. Due to continued workload and new instructions, they are now looking to appoint either a Part II Architectural Assistant or a qualified Architect to join their close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, friendly studio environment, with strong involvement across projects from design through to delivery.
The RoleYou will work alongside experienced Architects and Architectural Assistants on high-quality, one-off residential schemes. The role offers genuine exposure across multiple stages, with the chance to take ownership of packages and contribute creatively.
Key responsibilities include- Supporting and delivering residential projects from concept through to construction
- Producing detailed drawings and technical information using Vectorworks
- Assisting with planning submissions and technical packages
- Coordinating with consultants and attending site meetings
- Working closely with clients and the wider project team
To be considered, candidates should demonstrate:
- Part II qualified Architectural Assistant or ARB-registered Architect
- Proven experience on UK residential projects (essential)
- Strong Vectorworks proficiency (essential)
- Ability to commute within 40 minutes of Headley, Surrey
- Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
- Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
Salary between £30,000 - £40,000, depending on experience
