BDC position:
The BDC generates sales appointments with customers through inbound and outbound phone contact. The BDC is responsible for responding to customer inquiries and for using lead management tools to deliver sales results.
- Increase the sales traffic by responding to inbound calls, making outbound sales calls such as (not limited to) internet lead responses, unsold internet showroom traffic and follow up calls which produce specific appointments for the sales team.
- Respond to customer inquiries with courtesy, accuracy and professionalism.
- Understand the needs of the customer, developing a flexible sales process to draw them into the store for vehicle demonstration and to close the transaction.
- Support the marketing initiatives of the dealership by relaying promotions by phone.
- Check systems frequently and respond to inquiries immediately; promptly and accurately enter all customer inquiry data into the CRM.
- Effectively utilize lead management tools to maintain repeat and referral business.
- Establish personal income goals that are consistent with dealership standards of productivity in setting and confirming a volume of daily appointments, and devise a strategy to meet those goals.
- Conduct business in a variety of traditional and non-traditional methods, such as email, telephone, in-person appointments, and others.
- Develop and convey a high level of automotive product knowledge.
- Ensure that store inventory, pictures, and status are updated on a daily basis.
- Develop and enforce procedures to record and confirm all appointments for the sale and delivery of vehicles.
- Adhere to a consistent and reliable work schedule.
- Demonstrate ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Mac Haik Automotive Group brand.
- Effectively perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Proficiency with operating in a web-based, networked, internet environment
- CRM and DMS experience preferred
- Ability to sell a minimum quota according to dealership standards
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Successful completion of pre-employment screening
