Primary Purpose
Assist with the daily operation of school crossing guards and oversee training and placement. Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.

Experience

- Perform surveys regarding requests for the new locations to determine the need for new locations as well as to justify the present locations.
- Assist the crossing guard supervisor in observing the daily operation of the crossing guard program.
- Distribute uniforms and safety equipment to the school crossing guards.
- Provide written or oral reports as required.
- Provide attendance verification for the supervisor to determine accurate payroll reporting for the crossing guards.
- Adhere to district as well as departmental policies and dress code.
- Substitute for absent crossing guards as needed.
- Perform all tasks required to ensure safety of all the students of the district.

- Actively engage in actions that contribute to the overall mission and strategic plan of Clear Creek ISD.
- Stay up-to-date professionally through the selection of quality professional learning opportunities for personal growth.

- Participates fully in drills and safety exercises to provide for the safety and overall emotional wellbeing of students.

- Maintain punctuality in daily work times, appointments, and meetings.
- Meet task completion deadlines established by supervisor.
- Maintain friendly customer-service-driven interactions with all stakeholders, students, teachers, administrators, and co-workers.
- Work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors to ensure that the goals of the school/department are met.
- Maintain a positive and professional tone in all communication (i.e. email, written, and verbal).
- Perform other duties and accept other responsibilities as assigned.
