Location:
Near Le Mars, IADates: ASAP - Ongoing We are seeking board-certified physicians for a locum tenens position to provide a combination of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury exams. This flexible opportunity allows you to support veterans by conducting important health assessments without the responsibility of ongoing treatment. Key Details:

Days (PRN basis) Schedule Options:
Half-days (4 hours) Full days (8 hours) Responsibilities:
Exam Types:
Non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams Separation health assessments Exam Focus:
Interview-based assessments Physical assessments including range of motion testing, muscle strength testing, and evaluation of traumatic brain injuries A mix of General Medicine and Traumatic Brain Injury evaluations Treatment:
No prescribing or ongoing treatment involved Coverage Options:
Travel:
Perform exams at designated facilities Schedule Veterans within your own practice Requirements:
Board Certification:
Must be certified in one of the following specialties:
Neurology Neurosurgery Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R) State License:
Must hold an active license in Iowa Technology:
Personal laptop required (no MACs) Skills and Proficiencies:
Proficient in using a goniometer Familiarity with musculoskeletal, diabetes, and cardiovascular conditions Expertise in METs testing, respiratory, cardiovascular, and neurological diagnosis Additional Benefits:

Can earn CME credits (required post-privileging but not reimbursed) Training Provided:
