Job Description

The Merchandising Equipment Analyst is responsible for supporting the Merchandising Equipment Manager in all aspects of the Wells Branded Merchandising Equipment (BME) freezer equipment fleet. This role aids in the analytics related to BME performance and tracking by creating and maintaining dashboards, reports, and performance tools that enable the sales organization to improve execution, identify growth opportunities, and drive performance with the program.

Responsibilities

Include
  • Support Merchandising Equipment Manager in the distributors’ sales reporting activities. Assists with marketing and corporate ordering process for new BME, validating program requirements have been met by the requestor.
  • Works closely with Wells IT to manage the BME Oracle Ordering Tool.
  • Working with vendors to resolve order errors and damages.
  • Responsible for inbound/outbound and existing stock inventory by model.
  • Add new BME to database, tracking at cost center level and/or operator placement level where applicable.
  • Owns accuracy, and completeness and consistency of the BME database.
  • Oversee Impulse Channel Distributor Annual Program Fee accounting and billing processes.
  • Responsible for updating asset status changes within BME databases including:
    • Manage the repair and retirement of BME processes and documentation of transactions.
    • Analysis & Reporting of repairs by BME manufacturer and models.
    • Tracking for location changes, replacements, etc.
  • Support sales divisions and distributors in tracking, reporting and maintenance of BME.
  • Own the Integra Sys and Oracle system interfaces with Fixed Assets accounting.
  • Managing field and 3rd party audits of the BME fleet.
  • Work with Revenue Management team internally to track and provide equipment related metrics for ALT channel growth programs.
  • Other ad-hoc equipment related management activities as requested by Merchandising Equipment Manager.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate industry experience preferred
  • Minimum 2-3 years Food Service or DSD Distributor experience (Analyst, Customer Service, Sales or Marketing).
  • Strong systems skills related to analyzing sales data, forecasting, and trade management systems is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Results driven; action oriented. Excellent analytical skills.
  • Collaborative problem-solving skills.
  • Clear and effective written communication and presentation skills in both individual and group settings.
  • Experience with Tableau and working with in database systems is preferred.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal functions, sales teams, and external customers.

The base pay range for this position is $68,000 to $96,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
